I have been trying for what seems like ages, to figure out exactly how to make money online. If you search the phrase "make money online" at any of the major search engines, you will see a lot of results that at first glance, look promising. If you dig a little deeper by clicking on the results, you usually run into yet another scam artist trying to make money online by you searching for that ever illusive online money making miracle that takes little or no effort. They usually look like a the print version of an infomercial. I learned to stop reading and watching them when I was finally willing to admit to myself that they are nothing more than get rich quick schemes.
The only way you will probably ever make a substantial amount of money online is by developing a niche. Select a product or service that you like and then, zero in on what would be the most effective marketing method to use in order to drive highly targeted traffic to your website. Simply stay focused on the niche. Write substantive articles about your product or service. Submit them to popular online article databases.
Now find the best keywords that target the niche you selected. Use the keywords appropriately in all of your online advertising. This will help drive search engine traffic to your website. Be careful not to use the selected keywords in any way that may be considered spamming. The last thing you want is to start getting banned by the search engines. Whether you make money online depends largely on how much effort you are willing to put into your business. This is especially true is you are working on a shoestring budget. There are many ways that you market your online niche with little or no money. Seek them out. Learn what's working for others in similar niche's.
Finally, don't give up! Be persistent. If something simply does not work, try something fresh. Just because one method works for someone else doesn't mean it will work for you. Be patient and methodical. You can make money online, but not without effort.
